The Tour de Fleece (runs in tandem with the Tour de France) is on, and the time has come to start the spin of Karakul for the final part of the Poneva Project. My plan is to weave a garment on a "wild" WWL. I have chosen to spin the Karakul singles on my Ashford Traveler wheel rather than spin the entire lot on one of my Bulgarian drop spindles due to time constraints, but I will do a sample on my spindle so I can do the math for how long it would have taken to spin the entire finished yardage by hand.
